Shaila Kapoor writes about family, identity, and culture. She is currently working on a memoir that explores the intersection of these themes. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in the New York Times, the L.A. Times, The Rumpus, and others. She has a BA in Economics and Communications from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from UCLA. Shaila lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children.
